The OPUS 50 Compact Diesel Smoke Analyzer consists of a portable measuring unit on a stand and with measuring probe, as well as a display unit equipped with a remote control. The analyzer can also be equipped with built-in printer and RPM and oiltemp measurement. The diesel smoke is measured and is shown in smoke density as well as an absorption coefficient. The OPUS 50 Compact is programmed for two test modes: continuous measurement - full load/part load, and free acceleration measurement. During an acceleration test, the result will be shown both on the display and the remote control. The supplied measuring probe, possible to use outdoors down to -20oC can be used for all vehicles, e.g. private cars, trucks and busses. The measurement unit can be hung on the vehicle and is therefore easily connected even to vehicles with high exhaust pipes.
